I searched JIRA and the forums, found nothing on the forums and 20 pages of stuff on JIRA which after 5 pages of nothing related remotely to "selling objects with land" that I searched for, I gave up there. So I figured I would post here.

A friend and I just spent nearly two weeks working on a cathedral build. It's weighing in at around 7000 prims atm. Mostly it's linked into nice logical link sets. I paid my friend for all her hard work, and i transferred the land to her ownership, so that I could "buy" the land back and take ownership of all the objects using the "Sell objects with land" option. It worked fine, or so we thought.

However yesterday I started doing some more work and when I unlinked a piece, it turns out only the Root prim had been transferred to my ownership, all the child prims still belonged to her! :(

Initially we thought maybe it had to do with permissions, but after many experiments on a 16 meter plot, the result was always the same. Only ownership for the root prim is being transferred with the land sale.

This is a pretty serious bug, has anyone else experienced this, or is there something that we are missing? I'm curious now about contents of items, if the ownership of the contents gets transferred or not.

I have not yet put this on JIRA as I am not sure if it's already there or if for some strange reason this would be considered how it's supposed to work (i hope it's not.)

Thanks
