When I try to log in I'm getting the ANNOYING "Despite our best efforts, something has gone wrong" message... anyone else having this issue?

So it works in Australia ok, seems to me it might be few ISP's limiting bandwidth at peak times or something. Perhaps they have hardware failures too. Something called xfire has caused some peoples problems since it got updated recently. |

I have been unable to log in as well.
It sucks.
This has happened to me before. I have reported it to the Lindens but it takes them 12 hours to get back to you by which time the problem is fixed and they don't care anymore.

SL is still struggling to cope with the close to 40,000 logged in users we've been getting of late. For me I only got the message ones, but it took a REALLY long time to log-in, a good 10 minutes or so, I went off and read several wikipedia articles.
It looks like all their maintenance of late is geared towards fixing this though, I can only hope it's coming along faster than the demand is increasing 'cos it's getting busy!
