New transaction format sucks

Don't get me wrong, the new layout looks nicer than the one we've been dealing with since the last changes were forced on us, but getting rid of transaction numbers was STUPID!

Can we at least get those back? At least in the XML format?

Is LL TRYING to run businesspeople out of SL or something? You're doing a bang-up job at making running a business here suck worse with each change.


/and PLEASE get rid of 80% of the Flash on the web page. IT'S HORRIBLE! Form should always follow function.

I see the transactions numbers there, they're just 128 bit UUIDs instead the old 32-bit serials. I don't see any Flash on the page, not even hints of it in the page source.

There was notice of this for several weeks, including a link an alternative version of the page so we could get our programs, spreadsheets, etc. adjusted for the new format.

To be honest, I like the new layout. I don't need to see the full transaction number. These few numbers are enough for me. The best thing in the new layout is that some transactions take way fewer vertical space. Well done!

I like the new layout. It's clean and concise. The Excel export still has all the information I need, when I need it. So, nothing about the change bothers me. (^_^)y

Stipend came out on Monday this week? (O.o)

I was a little disappointed that no one started a thread about how releasing stipends early would lead to the utter destruction of the in-world economy and the greater world as we know it.

I go to xstreet was going to put some money in for things to buy and ,,humm
i have been clicking every where is the problem is , i dont use paypal - i have a standard credit card , its always take me to a paypal site and i do not wish to sign up for pay pal.
Would be so kind of some one to link me a place where i could just use straight CC intsead of Paypal , any help would be most helpful thanks in advance for any type of help on this

If you don't want to go through Paypal, you can buy L$ on the SL site directly with a credit card. Then you can plop some of the L$ into Xstreet from a terminal and buy your stuff. IT all looks a little weird now, but that's kind of a leftover from when Xstreet was a separate company. Things haven't been entirely integrated yet.

The only thing I don't like is how now we have to view a date range before we can download it. There used to be two buttons, one for downloading and one for viewing. Now we only get the download button for a date range after viewing it.

And it does little good to let people see what the future changes are if there is no way to talk about what doesn't work. We need a subforum for website feedback.
