bandwith slow to react

Since the last update I am having a intersting problem. At times it seems that my bandwith is "stuck" at a low level and takes forever to rez a area. I have checked and yes the sim was healthy at the time and not laging at all. My connection was good otherwise and my bandwidth setting is correct (I haven't changed anythign on this end but I checked them none the less). Yet I may go to a area and after teleporting in I won't see anything for minutes and the client is SLOWLY downloading a little here and a little there. Almost as if I was on dialup. Then sometimes (as if something gave it a kick) the bandwidth peaks and everything rezes in a few seconds but then after everything rezes it goes back down to a low level (which is normal) however it does not want to go back up again as new avatars that just teleported in take some time to rez.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Everytime I teleport to FurNation's SkyMall. I sent a bug report w/ screenshot at the 4 minute mark (oddly everything behind me was rezzing just fine) and 6 minutes later I had enough to do what I wanted to do.

I have noticed this with an interesting twist. After I have newly logged in and rezzed, the next teleport I make is always slow loading. Max of 100k to 150k UNTIL I go into preferences and just touch the Bandwidth slider. I just wiggle it a little and hit Ok and my bandwidth goes crazy, stuff loads in no time. I think this is an actual bug where the bandwidth is either not being set right internally, or is being reset to some low default occaisionally. I would love to know if anyone else can confirm this behavior.

Interesing, I will give that a try next time things are loading REALLY slow and let you know if I have the same experence.

Typical scenario:

Search for what I want, find the location and teleport

My av shows up either on just grass or greyed out content

* If it's just grass, the place seems to rezz faster for some strange reason.

* If it's greyed out content, I move my cursor over close items and they rezz (plants in particular).

I move closer as things rezz (note: I have my draw distance set relatively low).

On board vendors (not sure if that's the correct term, but basically posters set as vendors) I can move cursor over and/or ctrl+move cursor over to force-rezz.

-or if I'm on a very large sim and get too impatient, I go afk and peek back every couple of minutes- When my hair shows up it's rezzed.

I don't have a kick-ass computer, but nothing else reacts this way. I'm ultra low-tech (lol) so I have no clue why any of the above happens, works or doesn't work. Just my L$2
