Whats with black outlined text?

Have you seen the new text that is BLACK outlined of the text font? What the hell is this crap? Its hard on the eyes and worse it blends in with the blackground most of the time GET RIDE OF THIS CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I kinda like the little black outlines.

it hurts the eyes after awhile.....why did they change this without testing it first.

actually I love it. It look cool and sleek to me.

It's not new, it's just softer.

I've got the same thing, can't even see the chat going on uless I have "history" window open. the Dropdown menues for "file", "edit", "view" , "world", etc... aren't even visible at all.

not very enjoyable, things worked and looked better before teh update.

I don't understand what you mean, this is what I see and it doesn't seem to be blurry or invisible or anything... If you see it otherwise I believe it must be a bug LL has to fix...

There is some major issues going on with 1.15 client! its a bug............

What scares me is that someone bothered with such a trivial detail as that when the clients are still so buggy. Talk about inverted priorities!

Thats what i feel with all the other issues they like this crap.. FIRE THE CODER! Gesh you think they have common sence.But this is what people are bitching about these days. OH BTW group im are running a Muck ith 100`s of " AS LEFT THIS SESSION" Fret the thpught the stupid coder fix this issue.

Im having the same problem, will this issue be resolved?? I havent seen anything in the blogs about it..and not like we can contact live help anymore.

In the places where the black outline looks like a black outline , on the chat text and hovertext and such, I don't like the black outline, but you can still read the text. When the text is over top a white part of the inword display the text becomes very blurred, illegibly so, and quite ugly as well.

I submitted a bug report for this, don't know if that will help lol.

Might not be a bug.But a linden way of screwing with things THATS JUST DON`T WORK!

I noticed that all of the float text has a shadow effect. I believe this is one and same.

It is very hard to see, especially if the the float text is a darker color. Blue is horrendous.

I bug reported this on Thursday.

It would appear this is a new "feature". Hopefully it's a bug, but for some reason, I doubt it.

LL, if this is a new "feature", can we have an option to turn it off please.

This illegible blur on the right needs to be fixed.

we have to wait until atleast monday for them even to look at this issue because of the new reportsing systems......

Hmm.. The half shadow doesn't work too well. Perhaps a client preference? Maybe a setting for how much outline there should be? 0-100% with 0% meaning the old style, 100% meaning the outline would be full black... or 0-100 where 0 means full black shadow, 100 being the old text style? *shrugs* And 50% would look something like it is now, I guess.

The shadow looks nice in some places, I think.. but yes, it makes things harder to read against some backgrounds.

That is how i felt when I first noticed it. But now..........When are they going to fix it!
