Is this a bug FIXING that, or is this a IMPLEMENTATION? Can we please get clarrification on what's being fixed and what's being added in release notes? Often there are some obvious ones like "*Client crashes unexpectedly." that's a bug fix not an implementation, but on some more sketchy ones like this... it's honestly really really confusing.

And if it's an implementation... why not be able to set to Zero price? What if I want an item to be payed for, yet free? Or does llSetPayPrice not even do that? (for the question, why would you want to do that? It would be for the ability to "Give Contents" in a folder instead of just having them copy the object.)

Its a fix, you've never been able to pay 0l$ for an item, perhaps when its scripted like this it needs to detect a transaction even if its 1$, unlike buy where you can sell for 0$, and well negative value, not sure what happened there but was clearly a bug

Unless I'm misunderstanding this.... I have a load of freebies at the Shelter that say otherwise.

They're all set for-sale for $0, and set to sell contents. I've found this is the absolute easiest way for newbies to collect freebies, short of involving a touch/give script. Not to mention that I prefer to keep everything at my place free.

If in 1.7, you can no longer purchase items for $0, it will become quite the minor inconvienence in the freebie department.

Yes slight misunderstanding the difference between the pay tab on the pie menu and the buy tab, the llsetpayprice allows you to customise the pop up window that currently presents 4 buttons and a money entry window, this is usually called by a vendor by right clicking and selecting pay etc, at the moment you cant enter an amount of 0$ via this system, while the bug was that you could configure the menu to display this and negative values.

The normal pricing of items via edit > forsale isnt affected

Thanks Nathan, you are correct. This only effects the Pay dialog and not any of the Buy options.
