I thought we ended up with an "offline" mode of some sort, but when I finally want to work undisturbed for a while... I can't see one, just one to only show online status to friends. Which means I would have to go through a couple hundred entries SLOWLY and turn them all off when I want to work without being disturbed. Then turn them on again afterwardes. This is completely useless.
(no, "busy" isn't useful, because it breaks handing me stuff)
What a crock.

You can do several at once, but not all of them at once (if you have a big list that is). But yes it is anoying when you have a large friends list.

We passed "annoying" some time ago.
Having to turn them on was already "annoying".
The idea that you're expected to manually change hundreds of settings every time you want to go into "offline" mode is "incomprehensible".
Not getting the originally requested functionality at all is "unacceptable".
