Steps to reproduce the bug: Open a group member list and look for an online user. Search for that same user in SL's Find window. In this case, I saw Kona Linden online via the SL Preview group's member list so I searched for him in the Find > People tab and he didn't show up.
Observed results: A search for online Lindens shows a user as not online but shows the same user online in the SL Preview group member list...
Expected results: Online status should be consistent. This "bug" implies hiding one's online status is, perhaps, only possible with Lindens...

Lindens have that option, also I believe that if i'm on a private estate (hidden from everyone) i'll appear offline to people who have my note... as in the find menu.. not sure if I would appear offline there too.

Lindens have had stealth mode and p2p tepelorting since before I joined SL.
I've been using the group bug to sta- see if the Lindens are online, now you gone and told them and they will remove it.

With regard to bugs, the statement "now you gone and told them and they will remove it." does not necessarily apply.
