Modify Rights Not Working?

I've had an issue since the last update re: being able to work on group builds/objects owned by friends who I have exchanged Mod Rights with. Essentially, a. I cannot select individual textures on these objects (after selecting "select texture" in the edit menu, it deselects the whole object) and b. same thing happens when editing linked prims (when "edit linked prims" is selected, it deselects the object and will not allow me to select individual prims).

It appears my only option right now is to take the object and then replace it, placing ownership rights on myself. This is not desiriable, say, for rental properties that have already been decked out by their resident, etc.

I am having issues w/ Jira, too, so I couldn't vote on the issue there -
https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-194

Any tips? Anyone else having the same issue?

Eek, I had this issue all the time but haven't been modifying stuff owned by others in a while (no projects like that lately). I reported it and reported, and kept being told it was fixed but it definitely doesn't work. So yes, me too, waiting for the Jira to load so I can vote =)

My problem may be related, I'm not sure.
I sometimes cannot modify my own builds. I get an error message saying that I don't have the rights... well, excuse me, but I created those, they are simple builds, not scripted. Sometimes relogging helps. Grrrr...
