The Preview client I downloaded here: http://secondlife.com/downloads/preview.php
doesn't work for me, it says that I mistyped my password, but this is wrong... also because the normal client work correctly for me. Could you give me a tip?

The preview databases are copies of previous versions of the main ones. So if you joined after the date the copy was taken you won't be able to log into the preview. Looking at your join date I'd say this is the case, soz.

You can preview what skins will look like in the upload dialogue, just pick what it's for from the dropdown.

Yes, I tried that function, but I'm not satisfied because I'm trying to build my "1st life face" and when I preview it in the upload procedure it is ok, but when I apply (after upload) the face as tattoo, it becomes darker (maybe because of inworld shadows), so I can't prepare it with correct colours... if I don't make a lot of tries, paying 10L$ everytime

If it's just colours you're trying to sort you could do strips of different shades on the same texture to save money.

Ahhh.. Fair enough.. Is the preview grid up all the time? Until the Lindens decide to take it down, and since there's still a couple of sims or so left on the Colo grid (that was used for 1.4 preview wasn't it?) I should think it'll be there for a while. |
