Ok, so when I log in, all the avatars are either green and yellow or red and blue to me, but its just the avatar skins and clothes, no prims or anything. Is this happening to anyone else, and how can I fix it? (My drivers are updated)

Try turning off your local lighting. What you've described sounds like local lighting working in the presence of nearby lights.
