And if I were a builder or selling some item in SL I'd be demanding real action.

Today I saw a house I really like. Now up until the last release, I could right click the house, choose Edit and look at who the creator is. then I could contact the creator and find out where to get more info or buy the object. But you can't do that anymore.

Nor can you inspect items anymore. At least inspection shows nothing. Kinda makes the inspection option rather usesless. I expect I can inspect my own items but what is the point of that?

It's still allowing me to see creators on other peoples objects, although it's been slow and I see question marks for a moment before the creator name pops up.

Are you sure that you don't have "Select only my objects" in the Tools menu checked?

Even if you don't see it check, try checking it and then unchecking and try again.

As of yesterday I could still see creators on items. It just took a bit of time. Same with trying to take things back.

Yes, sounds like you have "select only my objects" turned on. Inspect works fine for me.

I rezzed stuff from my inventory, just to see what it was (object), in order to clean it out. Once rezzed, turnned out to be something I had made, named and put description of it in edit box as well. Now it has lost all description, even me as being the creator (unknown). Just as well it was something replaceable.
