Crashing please can someone help me?

Can anyone help me PLEASE? ever since the new version i cant get on sl it logs me on then 3 seconds later chucks me off and sends a error report i had the same problem with the 1.14 version but at least they let me keep the 1.13 version this time they wont let me play on anyother version but the new one 1.15 and im sooooooo missing sl please can anyone help me?

I was having the same problem with this latest version, especially after the rolling restart last night. Have you tried clearing your cache from the Edit-Preferences-Network menu? This fixed it for me. Also, you might try increasing the size of your cache to larger than the default 500MB, using the slide bar on that same pulldown/popup menu tab.

Yes i have tried those and still it chucks me off atfer 3 seconds i really would just like to play on the 1.13 version again till i can work out whats wrong.

It may be that the last couple of updates have caused your drivers to become a little behind. At the risk of sounding like a canned response.......check for the latest drivers for your video card and motherboard. Another thing I did to improve my log in times (I don't crash but for a while after 1.14 it was taking up to 3 minutes to just get to the log in screen when I launched SL.........something that was not a problem with 1.13) is to increase your paging file size in Windows (assuming you are using Windows). For some reason that helped drop that launching time to around 20 to 30 seconds. I also defragged my hard drive.

Not sure my suggestions will help but it wouldn't hurt to give them a try.

Thank you for your reply but i have checked all my drivers and they are upto date i swear i have done everything as i did when it happened to me on the 1.14 version i can play anyother online game just not sl unless its the 1.13 version i just wish LL would let me carry on with the 1.13 version till i figure this out i have now dropped my account to basic as i can only play sl if my sister lets me on her pc..lol (which is NEVER) also my pc is the same as my sisters we got them together so i dont understand it... If anyone has any ideas please feel free to share them ..Thank You.

Initially I had the very same problem. What fixed it for me was creating an exception rule under my anti-virus program to not actively scan the SL cache directory.
