Find Region drop down menu in map function

what happened to the Find Region drop down menu on the map?

I used to select interesting names and teleport there to explore unknown places but now it seems if someone has not told you about a region or you have gotten a card or advertisment somewhere you can only explore by the tedius method of scrolling around the map manually

please bring this simple drop down menu back

Yes... arrr... sadly, that Region dropdown is gone... for now. I hope it will be back in a new and improved form, like say, a tab on the World Map window that uses multicolumns to list the many regions of Second Life.

Speaking of, in the meantime—this may be of some use to you—have you checked out ROAM Regions?

Hi Tor and Tor! Or maybe some tabs like A-F G-K etc.

Yush... we have so much room for TABS in the World Map now. It makes easy peasy sense! Objects, Terrain, and then an easily-scrollable Region List one.

ect, cant remember last time i used a landmark, i look at map, click on sim i want to go to, wich dont go well now since sim island map loads heck of a lot slower then mainland -.-

Sometimes I don't remember enough to search, but if I see it I know it... maybe the tabs should be for greater areas, such as snow sims, grid west, new continent east... not sure... things are large now, though... and I want to stay connected, but there are sims I've never been to or even heard of. That's disturbing. Maybe tabs could be like guidebooks to the area...
