I have a 1 minute delay (SL freeze) when i try to pick a texture for any prim i try to edit, i did not have this on 1.20.17 (98669). I do know my OpenGL is a bit out of date, but as i'm on W2k it's limited to how new drivers i can get.

If someone can shine some light on this and perhaps even suggest how to upgrade just my OpenGL it will be much appreciated. I don't really wqant to revert back to the older version as i give support help to products that my partner make so i need to be up to date... but all this waiting for textures when i build is driving me crazy.

Below is my configuration taken from the help menu, please note that my CPU is a dualcore.

It's a bug in the current client. Hopefully they will fix it soon. Nothing you can do on your end, aside from leaving the texture picker open, and avoiding clicking "select", which closes the texture picker.
