I liked it. It was easier to decide where to rez about one of the many crashes, I experience. Now it is gone? Also, why does the camera HAVE to move when you click on Edit? I hate that. I have it just where I need it, then boom! I am now looking at the roof. Jen

The camera movement is an option. To disable this you edit your Preferences:
Input/Camera Tab -> Automatic Edit Camera Movement If checked the camera will spin usually to an overhead view of the object you are about to edit. Un-checked and the camera will stay where it's at.

The where to rez is an option too
Remember, LL in their infinite wisdom opted to scrap all our old preferences files when they migrated to using xml to store the prefs, so EVERYTHING you have changed in the preft window will need to be redone.
Just don't edit the colors of anything until the fix the new xml prefs system *sigh*
The pref for it is on the Genreral Tab, called "Show start location on login screen".
And the camera move one is on the camera tab - the two "automatic camera movement" ones
