Second Life 1.7.0(27) Sep 1, 2005 ================================== * Attachments do not show up after teleport * New IM windows open on top (including when in Busy mode) * Avatar moves while editing attachments making edits difficult to perform with any precision * No difference in shiny levels; Nvidia 5x00 cards, others? * Custom terrain textures not shown on map * Searching twice for a resident in same Find session blanks out blue buttons. * Land editing is slow when updating terrain surface * Creating a group or changing your active group crashes the sim * Objects don't appear after teleport until you move * World Map hover text no longer shows number of people in the sim * Region List Should Not Be a Pull-down * Sims offline at time of map update are not visible * Map tooltips do not show agent count * Map doesn't show sim names until selected * IM Interface tabs should be on the bottom of IM window * Focus does not switch to input bar in IM window when opening IM window after using main chat window * Only one object gets rezzed when dragging multiple items to the ground (with multi-select) * Cannot delete items that have been rezzed -- "Delete" option not available in pie menu * Attachment loses its name after being dropped * Cannot drop attachments from the pie menu * Sun reflection drawn incorrectly * High res snapshots give no progress feedback * The parcel object calculation is incorrect when max objects reached and items selected during a parcel subdivide/join

I dont get it. Is that a list of bugs that were fixed, or a list of the ones that are still around?

Might have made it a bit clearer if there was a little "FIXED" prefixing the works. I admit to doing a doubletake and almost thinking these were a list of bugs introduced in the latest version! Silly me.

Yea very true, from what usually happens in the preview releases your lucky if you get the release notes updated at all, they just cobble something together quickly after they build it, and post it in the file

"* No difference in shiny levels; Nvidia 5x00 cards, others?"
Well, I'm noticing the new shiny levels and it's purty nice. I'm running a 6600GT (AGP) with all settings checked.
[Edit: however, it is very slow during editing - the object stays black for quite some time afterwards in some cases.]

[Edit: however, it is very slow during editing - the object stays black for quite some time afterwards in some cases.] I think in this particular case there was a bug with the 5x00 series of cards where all shiny levels were being rendered as high, they have fixed that but they are looking for any other cards that are being rendered incorrectly. I would bug report your problem with editing

eesh a lotta work to do i guess. well i did my own personall sim stress testing. sim didnt crash. just lagged a little. all in all i think thats improved. Anyone seen my bovine cheerleaders in morris? Apearance seams to be loading faster. the little images used to take a while. Might just be me though.
