I don't see others reporting this, so it may be my system.

I've been using the Release Candidate 1.20 for weeks
with no problem. Same with the Release Client 1.19.

I installed 1.20.15.92456 a few days ago and it was
working fine for a couple of days, but now when
I try to start it, it just hangs. And yes, cleared the
cache, several times.

The Release Candidate 1.20 still works fine.

I downloaded and reinstalled 1.20.15.92456.
Just hangs. Don't even get to the login screen.

So then I downloaded the previous version, 1.19, and it
works fine.

Any comments or suggestions about this?

Thanks,
Infrared Wind

I've had the same problem with this release (92456).......... except it hung straight away. Just a plain black screen. Similarly, tried to reinstall again with similar results and therefore have had to revert back to the previous version.

I know some others have grumbled about this release, and reverted back. Tho' not sure whether for the same reason.

Hey Riktor --

Actually that's what's happening. It just hangs straight away.

The weird thing is that it did work for a while. I even ran it
with --multiple to work on a project that I needed another avatar
for testing...and it was OK.

Appreciate the feedback.

Hi, have you tried uninstalling the older versions, running a registery cleaner and installing a fresh copy?

Old entries in the registery can cause hangs while it tries to find broken links.

A day later and I've re-installed a third time and it's working again.

My feeling is that the hanging might be related to server side.

Dunno.

Cheers Infrared, AWM........

I'll probably 'hang fire' for a while until the situation's resolved or the issues which are causing these problems are known! Sometimes it's better the 'devil' you know.......... lol
