Is SL offline tonight???

I was in SL about 2pm PDT today, when it quit suddenly (ok, that's not rare lol). But I cannot get back in, neither main account or any alt - its either freezing on the logging in screen, or its starting to load then crashing straight away.

The number online has reduced in 10 minutes from 46,000 to 38,000. My guess is there is a major problem online at the moment? Or SL servers, or something?

I have cleared the cache, reinstalled SL, but it makes no difference.

Can't seem to log in either. Guess the login server is being stupid

Same here. I couldn't rezz any objects and tried to relog to see if it would solve it, but can't relog. It blocks on login process.

TPs still have some problems too.

Oh good. I was wondering if it was just me but it seems SL is down tonight. Wish they would post something in the blog about it. Would like to know what is happening.

I've filed a Support ticket, but since LL don't seem to answer them anymore, I guess we'll just have to wait......

Did anyone get that "Resident Survey" thing on the Log-In page? "Is your Second Life experience getting better or worse?". "Why?" (80 characters maximum, it tells you AFTER you've typed your answer!)
At the moment I'd need a few thousand characters to explain why SL is getting worse day by day. LACK OF COMMUNICATION would be one of many points - how many characters is that?

But in half an hour the numbers online have gone from 46,000 to 26,000 and still falling.

Just up on the Blog:

After 10 tries I managed to log in, but I can't delete any objects or return objects to my inventory.

If SL is out now ? I can't log in. Unable to connect at Simulator.

I can't login either. I tried for over 10 times now. I resetted my computer. I reinstalled the latest version SL. It doesn't work. I thougt I was the only one, appearently I'm not. I hope they do something about that. I need to get in fast. I am running a business, and have appointments to get to.

I don't understand why this message appears on a white screen on the standard client when i try to log in. I have never had such a problem before and I use sl daily. Any clues?

No clue, but hit the connect button anyway. That works for almost everybody who has reported this dozens of times on dozens of other threads this AM.

Hi Maggie, I'm getting this access denied too. Dunno what it means, hope they will solve the problem whatever it is.

Did you try to connect anyway? There are at least a dozen threads going on this. Just connect no matter what the log in screen says. Shoild work.

I'm getting the same message when I try to log in to SL.... tells me that access is denied and to contact my service provider. I know for a fact it isn't my service provider that is the problem here... I can access everything else I want to access.

OPne more time I will try to say this. Don't worry about the message at the log in screen. You should be able to get in by clicking on the button that says "Connect". That is the thing to do. The message is garbage.

Log in anyway doesn't work. It crashes during the login procedure. This just sucks

I have seen that in a few cases. They seem to be from Europeon based residents, Perhaps even Germans only . Is this the case with you? If so, I am sorry, I have not seen any answer to that problem on any of the forums yet.

Again problem to log in. Same log failed at first message of this thread. Maybe this thread can become Log in problem thread.
