SL just locks up

I've been running SL for nearly six months and all it ever did before was the occasional crash where the client completely closed and I had to restart it and log back in.

With version 1.11, however, it is locking up hard. The client isn't crashing, it just freezes and I can't do anything inside SL. I have to ALT + CTRL + DEL out of it and restart it. It's happend to me multiple times tonight. Something is definitely wrong with this one.

I have been crashed to where the whole puter freezes up many times. My Drivers are up to date. The puter is only for SL and running no other applications. Fresh install of Windows, Drivers and SL did not help.
The Crash is TOTAL. no mouse movement no nothing but hit reboot button on machine. Does not seem to be triggered by any event. Once happened in middle of typing in room chat. Another time flying and recently just a sitting.
Crashes seem to happen as frequently as 5 min and longest online so far since wednesday evening (SL Time) was 50 min.

I have this problem with the new version too! So far it's happened three times today, and a couple times yesterday, I think.

Usually what I am doing when I crash is:
-typing into chat
-right-clicking an avatar to see their Profile
-right-clicking an avatar to Send IM

When this happens, SL crashes in a way it never used to for me -- It freezes up with the computer's "I'm in the middle of doing something" icon and won't quit normally, and I can't even force quit easily either.

I've been having this problem as well (see: here), but after toying around with it more, it seems to happen in certain locations - I wonder if this has to do something with sensors on a particular land.

More importantly, it seems a lot of these issues deal with the new pie menu and the way it reacts with the client as a whole - then again I'm just speculating after trying to make SL crash.

YES, Seleras...I am having the same issues.

Exactly the same reproducable issues.

And I'm on a Mac too.. so it is platform neutral.

(At least when SL locks up hard I can still kill it on the Mac without bringing my whole machine down with it.)

Bad news is, I have been crashing consistently (every 1-5 minutes) for the past half hour or so. Good news is, I have a list of more things I was doing when I crashed:

-right-clicking an avatar to Send IM (again)
-attempting to copy and paste
-looking up a Group in Search -> Groups
-trying to ban someone from land access
-clicking in-world to move my cursor there

I'm not sure if this is the upgrade or something else causing the crashes... At this point, it seems like I can't do anything without crashing so it seems like it'd be difficult to repro a crashing cause without running into new ones. :\
