In spite of all the new glitches that just seem to appear in a new version, you did do one thing perfectly lindens... ALPHA TEXTURES NO LONGER DISSAPEAR WHEN TOO MANY OVERLAP!!! Thank you thank you thank you thank you. Now just give me back the old edit window and you're golden ;).

I still have alpha-overlap issues.

The 'fix' seems to improve situations on linked objects. (Maybe the new linked object rendering thingy.)

But when you deal with alpha items using scripting delinking/relinking, the alpha problem is even worse than before, actually never showing the correct order.

(Another of my items borked since 1.6, the score is now 3)

ya, they still render in the wrong order, but at least they don't disapear.
