I don't know if anyone has noticed, but in the latest RC version of the veiwer LL has removed the prefereneces button at the login screen. I use that button a lot to change location when teleports are failing. Or if I need to change certain settings BEFORE I log in. I have created a issue for the tracker and hopefully it will gain enough interest to have it returned. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3728-DB |

It's now on a limited set of menus at the top of the login screen, since most of the time, you don't need to hit that button.
Ctrl-P or Edit menu > Preferences.
Likewise, the create new account button is now a much smaller link, and not an equal-sized button right above Connect.

Yes I just found this out my apologizes. I *almost* tried ctrl-p, but seeing the button gone and how LL removed the bandwidth and Packet Loss meters recently I just assumed they did the same thing with the preferences button. I still think it is better to have the button but at least preferences is still accessable.
