It's been a few weeks, thought I'd check in and see what the good word is. I really miss being able to see if my favorite people are Online...makes it a bit harder to get business done too as I keep having to log in, check the friends list, then log back out again.
Is this really such a complex piece of functionality that it takes several weeks to locate the solution.

You might be interested in the scripted friends list advertised in my signature. It's not a fix, but it's gotten great reviews and is free. _____________________

For the current round of the web-page version of the friends list being down, WEB-340 seems to be the issue. If you want LL to know that you want this fixed, go to http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-340 and vote to get it fixed! If you don't know how to vote, do this: - go to this web page: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-340 - on the left, look for the text that says "If you were logged in you would be able to see more operations" - click where it says "logged in" - enter your SL user name and password - you'll get taken back to the WEB-340 page - look for the text on the left that says "You have not voted for this issue. Vote for it if you wish it to be fixed" - click where it says "Vote for it" - that's it You can also add comments but note that sarcastic remarks about LLs definition of "temporary" has kinda been done to death. _____________________
