i love steering with the mouse! that is so cool. and it's a big help for one handedly looking around. one thing tho......why doesn't looking up and down while flying make you fly up and down like flying in mouselook??

I wonder if we could make this like click to turn on and off? 'Cause i like it but don't like holding down the mouse button on my powerbook and having to close the chat box so that I can hold down "W".

I agree on the click. Or make it a mode like mouselook, turned on and off with a key command. Because I've already damaged my hands badly enough holding mouse buttons down over the years.

I like it, it'd be nice if we could also go forward, back, etc. with the mouse as well, kinda like how some MMORPGs allow you to.

I was thinking about suggesting a movement mode like this a couple weeks ago, so I'm glad to see it in the preview. I'll add my voice to the requests to make this a separate toggled mode (with a separate keyboard command for it, whether bound to a key by default or not): movement just like first-person mode, but with the camera positioned for third-person mode. It'd be best for any sort of stage performance, as you could move yourself more easily while still being able to see everyone around you.
