Every new post in this forum should be moved to "off topic," as they do not relate to 1.7 features.

Why is 'Force Daylight' still called 'Force Sunset'?

No one can be bothered...

I'm sure there is a very good reason this is called V 1.7 Feedback. You obviously don't understand the complexities of Feature Feedback thread naming. What would you have it called? Why don't you get a grip. Just because you don't understand what is going on doesn't mean that LL has not thought this through and decided the best course of action, for obvious reasons, was to leave the forum thread title as is.

Except that the majority of the posts here are regarding the messed-up texture loading which is a 1.7 'feature' that has carried over into 1.8.

Maybe because having to change it From 1.7 to 1.8 and 1.8 to 1.9 will take too much time, so they are just waiting :)

Actually it is named 1.8, not 1.7, but the "8" texture is still loading.

Updating this forum's name has been given low priority pending the development and release of SL 2.0.

Once SL 2.0 is released, then this forum's version number reference will be changed to 1.8.

It's a slippery slope once we change the TOS to allow forums to be renamed. There may be implications that infringe on the concept of 'Your World, Your Imagination'.

It's a miracle.
