Not being a great fan of the new snapshot feature (to be polite) I was curious to know wether this update would have changed something.
It did.... Press snapshot button, change the image size, zoom in on your subject and find out all you are left with is moving around since the ui has become unresponsive and you're stuck in snapshot-hell. Anyone else have this problem ?

Hi, I just tried this and was able to leave Snapshot mode. Just click the "Discard" or "X" button on the snapshot window. That should knock you out of Snapshot mode.

nope .... can't do it .... neither x or discard are clickable ... did a few tests and it seems to happen after I move the UI around a few times .... doesn't follow the cursor very well either when I drag it ... all I can do is ctrl+alt+delete and kill off Secondlife....

~edit~
.... found some time for additional testing .. still have the issue .... but not on another comp I can test on ... problem exists on a box with an NVIDIA GeForce 6700 XL (Medion).

if you need more info I'll be happy to supply it ...

I have not gotten stuck in the snap shots, but in the last three up grades all my snap shots look like I'm looking through a fog? I have tried everything that I can find ( change rezz setings, all the diff clickable dots, up dating the snap shot ) nothing changes all pics still look like a fog? anyone else have this happen to them?

Yes, we certainly need to have something like the old snapshot.

I wish everyone who hates having only the new snapshot system would post in the forums, even if they have already posted about it multiple times, and send email to philip@lindenlab.com, and whoever else might be appropriate.

I had exactly this problem, Loki. I took a few snapshots successfully, then absolutely *every* one I tried had the same result. My mouse pointer would change to the magnifying glass with the plus sign in it, and I would no longer be able to click on the snapshot dialog (E.G.: to cancel or change settings). All I could do was shift the camera position around. I tried hitting escape, clicing in random places on the screen, whatever: no go. When I tried to exit the game, it would generate a crash report ("Second life appears to have crashed...";)

I "fixed" this problem by clearing my cache.
I have no idea if this will help you, but it appeared to work for me. I can't say I like the new snapshot interface at all, but so long as it works I'll give it a chance to see if maybe it grows on me.

Thanx for the tip Thomas but sadly it didn't work for me. I still get stuck in snapshot-hell. As for using the new UI, I doubt if it will ever grow on me.

Since I believe in tackling problems in a positive way I did make a few suggestions as to how it could be adjusted to make it work in another thread. I just hope some Linden will pick up on it ....
