I gotta say, after more than a year in game, the performance is at its lowest.

Packett loss is back to near full red scale siince the patch last week. Prior to the patch it had been at acceptable levels.

Vehicle operation (physics based scripts) is absolutly miserable, with pauses of near 30 seconds in the middle of a all water sim with no objects being renders at the time. However when I continually turn left and right, performance smooths out. Someone explain that?

Building anything, even at 300M alt, is a sever test of ones patience. Rez a prim, then wait a minute or so for it to actually appear (maybe).

Making it tough to run and maintain a business in game.

Can anyone say rollback please?

Amen.

I'm STILL suffering with pausing and stuttering since the last update. On top of that, Focus Pan/Orbit don't work for me. Rez 10 times and if you're lucky the object will appear.

It used to be so much fun to build. Now I cringe when I know I have to build something. I mean, *try* and build something. Can't even get my business going, thanks to this.

We bought a plot three weeks ago and had events there with the 40 ppl Maximum. NO LAG !! Just to say that we spend 1600$ for this parcel because it runs on a class5 server. Since one week the packet loss exceeded to max! Or club started very well and now we loose ppl due to enourmous lag and login problems! 2 days ago the whole sim crashed ..partys over, today 37 ppl gone!

I was on my way buying an island, but now im really not sure if this way of Linden growing so fast is the right decision! First is to make the grid running smoothly and then sell like hell. Right now my club is filled with 2 ppl. Thanks!

Why building an amazing spot, spending a lot of money if nobodys there?

Just think then act! Were all business interested but if this goes on were all just another brick in the wall ...

Well look on the bright side... With the population escalating, and lag increasing, At least the population cant go much above 6.5 billion users. Once it does, and they devote enough server power to it... It will level off. :D

Just left the game (SL not responding), packett loss steady full scale red. Game froze 5 times, and crashed once in 20 minutes of play. Impossible to build. Checked the blogs, says problems resolved, right!

Lindens, PLEASE return the game to some semblence of playability.

How about we (humanity) connect Secondlife, directly to the Inernet's backbone?

Exactly, why not allowing open source to set up servers for all users. :) It might work out... the beginning of a new era.

Want to bet?
*Single handedly creates 6.5 billion accounts just for the hell of it*
Oops, guess you were wrong?
