It seems to me that Sl has made its new improvments to help only to cause a more inconvenience and make the "staff" less helpful then ever. Recently we had invisible prims on our land that control alt t would not show. I felt at a loss and became quickly irrate not haivng anyone to turn to for help. It seems as if lindens have shut off their status' also as I tried to seek a linden to see if they would or could help me. Live help before wasnt perfect but atleast some of the time you'd get an answer.. now I have issues.. and feel helpless and am ready to throw this game out the window along with my laptop. I have been a 2 year memeber. and I feel at a loss w/o the help of live helps old status. I really feel like we are being pushed away further from the linden people and volunteers. With all the changes .. why this one? I truly dont like the way this change of all has taken place. I hope others feel my "pain" and can support this thread.

I'm not sure what has happened with Live Help myself... A friend lost some clothes she had just purchased due to a rezzing bug, and tried to contact Live Help -- waited at least an hour and never heard a peep

Live Help is now "Help Request", but I'll stick to LH for this post.
Being a Live Helper myself I can assure you, that every call is seen by the LH members and will be addressed by someone who knows how to solve the issue. There are calls that go unanswered, but most of the time those are calls like: - Hello? - got a q pls..! - anyone there? - HEEELP! Calls like this do *not* help ![]() - Hi! I have some invisible prims on my land I can't delete or see with CTRL ALT T. Anything I can do? Thanks! Truth be told, there are some calls that slip through the helpers or get lost. Occasionally we have up to 20 or more IMs open and by the time we get to the next call, the user has closed the window themselves already. Sometimes we answer but do not receive a response from the user. Recently there were issues with our answers not reaching the user at all, but usually we try to reach them via regular IM then. In closing, I'd like to suggest the following: When opening a LH call try to be specific about your problem, so the correct person can handle the call., keep the window open for at least half an hour. If you didn't receive a response until then, try closing the window and reopening it 10 minutes later. It might be no immediate help, but that's impossible to do most of the time due to lack of helpers. If you think, LH needs improvement, apply for helping yourself, join the team and lessen the load on the rest of us ![]() Thanks! _____________________
