1.7 and the BIG ISSUES Im experiencing~!!!

So far this morning, since the so called FIX was downloaded, I am experiencing crashes every 10-15 minutes, with locking up in game, where I have to logout and then relog into SL to get back to moving. Also, when the lockup occurs, my cable internet connection disconnects, so that I have to reset the router, and cable modem before relogging. Also, had a complete computer freeze-up whereby I couldn't close out the programs I was running prior to having to reboot the computer altogether. Is anyone else having these type of issues since 1.7 and the fix today came on? My husband is also having the same issues on a different connection and computer setup.

...yep, that seems to be a widespread phenomenon across disparate configurations - let's hope the 1.7.1 release tomorrow helps...

I can not even log in within 5 mins of my game crashing out on me since this update, I uninstalled my game and then reinstalled to see if that would help. With no luck now im getting a popup when I log in that says my ATI card that runs my video card it out of date. It tells me to go to a webage for a free download, when I click it I get nothing in return. Can anyone tell me if that is my video card going out on me? Thank you for your time.
