Do you Lindens ever get together for meetings and discuss the bugs and people’s anger about them? You don’t respond to reports; in fact, you seem to be systematically removing ways for us to report. This is aggravating to say the least, particularly when some of these bugs don’t even need to be reported. If you play SL at all you must be encountering them. Here’s one tiny example that a programmer should be able to fix and solve in 20 minutes max: you are sitting somewhere and accept a teleport. When you arrive you are sitting in thin air and cannot stand up. It would take next to no programming to a. not allow the user to tp if they are sitting (not a very friendly solution), or b. issue a single standup instruction as part of the tp process. This is just one tiny aggravation. Does this need to go on a bug list to await a fix? Do your programmers use this program? Do they report to anyone?

Whilst the majority get frustrated and post on the forums... what they should be doing is to make out a bug report... these are dealt with on a priority basis.. the more people report a bug, the higher up the 'fix it' list they go. The more information LL get about a bug, along with system reports, the quicker they can discover the common elements to each system (all have FX graphics cards... all have 512mb ram etc..) the easier it is to fix/trace a bug. Not everyone suffers the same 'bugs'.

Bug testing is carried out on a 'selection' of potential systems/platforms, it would be impossible to test for every possible combination.

Alternatively, judging by a recent article about Phillip, he encourages the sending of 'feel the love' emails to all the workforce.... you might to try this approach LOL

having looked the site over for a while now, perhaps you could share with me where those bug reports should be sent/posted? Thank you.

You can make a bug report from ingame.. they moved it to a new menu.. I think in World menu, or maybe tools... It is encouraged for good reason, how you can recreate the 'bug' so they can follow the route to the cause.

Eachtime you crash, send a crash report, it includes a lot of data they can use about your individual system (nothing personal, because I checked lol) so they can compile a database of issues.

Tools -> Report Bug (at the bottom).

As for the crash reporter, I haven't had that work since at least 1.10
