Well, how do i start this... hmmm

First off I dont really care for the new patches, I was told about a month ago by someone that this always happens with patches and they generaly fix it within 24 hours, but the texture rezzing has gon on for quite some time, and now it's to a point where my textures are ALWAYS blurry.. well.. and i have to reset all my clothing and skins to get them to unblur. This is only temperary because about 5 minutes later they blur up again and I have to again.. reset them or they will never rez.

i think it's me that's killin SL, seems like my luck is, after i find something I like it's about ready to go under :p

anyway, I was wondering if this big mess of texture problems, objects taking forever to create, jumping while rotating, as well as the clothes thing, super laging to a point where I cant even move, my walking animation starting after about 30 serconds to a minute of sliding around in the standing position, animations playing in world taking a few dozen clicks to play, and other strange things like objects continuing to emit particals after the script has been removed, are ever going to be fixed, or is SL going to shut down?

yay blurry textures! i got to tell you i am loving the challenge of designing clothes and photographing them for my store. its sort of like beat the clock...blurry...blurry..bluurrrrrryyyy....NOT blurry (click).

1.7 has really made SL a more compelling experience... NAWT!

Allison, I have noticed the burliness but it hasn’t been a real serious problem for me. I did change some pants yesterday. The panties immediately rezzed. However the pants were transparent forever. I was in my house at the time so there was no one who could see me. I did wonder if it was only computer or if everyone saw me that way?

One the positive side, I find 1.7 to be much more stable with far fewer lockups and “for no reason crashes.”

I've had problems where I put clothes on and that half of my body turns solid black. When I go in to edit appearances, the clothes show up, but then go black again after I leave.

I had a dark jacket that I thought was a cheat texture (solid color) and was quite cross at how different it looked in the store picture than on my AV (particularly since I was going to use it to officiate at an in-game "wedding";). Later on I put it on again... and about five minutes later it suddenly started showing a very slight texture. Not what was in the picture, but at least textured. So I was only half cross*.

I've also had clothes show up transprent for minutes. And other people looking at me saw the same thing, so it wasn't that my cache was corrupted. Heck, I had a whole *airplane* do this to me until I went into edit and out again. It happened for my passenger first, and then when I stopped the plane and stood up it did the same for me.

* I can see how it might be possible to make that texture look like it did in the picture, but you'd have to stand at JUST the right angle to the sun and have a good video card.
