Can we get a "Remember this decision" checkbox on the declination of optional updates, please? I run on a laptop with an ATIx600 card, and I'd much rather to be able to hear things and keep the current almost-stable build of 1.13, than to go deaf in 1.14 (Only works with -noaudio switch) and bear witness to the various /new/ woes.

I've been clicking "Continue" at every single login for the past week, and believe me thats more times than is reasonable. WHY do we not have a checkbox to make it stop prompting on this optional version?

Have you added a feature request?

I have not. The last time I read the flowchart, you were generally encouraged to post here and see how a suggestion went over, then start a feature vote/request after you saw there was support for it. I believe there are currently hundreds of unacknowledged requests out there, or there were last time I looked, so I try to avoid becoming another one.

Okay.

I don't really see much downside to it. There's usually a blog post about optional viewers and the blog headlines are now on the client login screen. Having it prompt every time to somebody who never downloads them is sorta like nagware.

/me supports this suggestion.
