Just want to say a thank you to whoever at LL created the incredible new sky sequences. I just finished watching my first sunrise in 1.7. I literally stood there... speechless... for 20 minutes, at least! They are beautiful  . Sudane |

YAHYAHYAH... I'm not 100% sure of everyone who's the skyfiends but I know according to Brent, he and Runitai were involved in the making. So give 'em a shoutout and ask to pass on the good word. I'm obsessed with sunrises and sunsets so I notice the gradients are smoother, and while the sun and moon reflections are still a bit yuck, at least they DON'T jag into the landscape anymore. Thrilled to see it! |

I must admit, the sky, sunrise and sea certainly did look good last night. If you ignored how bad everything else looked, they were absolutely stunning. The stars at night looked great, and the clouds were a definite improvement. I also noticed a pretty ripple effect animating the surface of the sea.

I have to say that I agree..
The skies are awesome in 1.7
From the top of just about any tall building, there are some WAY COOL sunrises and sunsets.
I think I am gonna have to have a gather at the Skyliners' Club just for the explicit purpose of enjoying the skies.
Anybody wanna join me??
Come to the Skyliners' Club. Tonight after 5:30 game time, I should be there to give the tour and kick off the party.
I will be there all night since I have a few adjustments to make to the mall to make it easier and more attractive to shoppers.
In the meantime, I plan on having Dancing and other festivities just to celebrate the fact that 1.7 is actually here and stabilizing.
And to celebrate beautiful skies...
