I have been a member for only about a month now and have enjoyed it for the most part so though this post is a bit neggative I am not thinking of cancelling. However, I am getting very frustrated with the frequent interuptions. I already have many friends and buisiness dealing and find it very intrussive to be interupted because of technical issues so often. I realize it takes alot of effort to keep something like this opperating but I also thing two extended interuptions a month is a bit much. For instance, this time I was in the middle of talking to and meeting a freind, crashed in the middle of teleport, and now your having issues AGAIN! Linden Labs is big enough I'm sure you realize the damages inconsistant delivery of products and services can cause. One would think you'd be more motivated in delivery of these. Again, I'm not going anywhere just venting and putting my two cents in.

Though we certainly view Linden Lab as a service-provider, they seem to maintain that, even though they operate the network-control software, and provide the programming that makes SL breathe, that because the code is open source, all they actually provide is the servers...thereby absolving themselves of any real responsibility for the integrity of the environment (cf. the Terms of Service, which promise nothing and threaten much). Good luck, and keep smiling!
