Ok i tried the new version for mac and when i logged into SL, my linden was down and i was in my older avatar. Not to mention all my inventory is from so long ago, it shows none of my new stuff. Anyone else experiencing this?
I just returned to the old version in fear of loosing my current stuff.

Hey Cheetah, be not afraid: on the Preview, your avatar is taken back to a date of around Feb. 15 or so, I believe. So this is just a TEST -- play around, have fun, hunt bugs down and report 'em. These changes are NOT permanent. You can have peace of mind knowing this! Cheers.  |

Yeah as Torley said, the preview is basicly running a backup of the database, which is from awhile ago, and is not updated every night.
When 1.6 goes live, your current avatar, inventory, etc. will remain the same (or atleast should) as it is *now* in 1.5. You should not lose anything when 1.6 goes live.
