Update (11) loads (9)?

I got a message about the optional (11) update, so I attempted to install it, however, the readme only mentioned (9) and the installer said (9) was already installed. I went ahead anyway, and the help about in world also thinks (9) is installed.

Is the link to (11) actually pointing to (9)?

I couldn't tell you about the link, I took the auto-patch download option when it was offered. My "About Second Life..." reads:
