I understand changing group code can be tricky for meny things but why do we have update after update and we still have to put up with Group SPAM? It would be real nice to be able to "Mute Group" (for this session only).

I know this is not the first time this is been on the "Please add this feature list". It will continue to be brought up after every update till it is added. Why are some basic things always ignored like this. Yes some of the changed put in each update have improved SL but this one gets ignored! Why Do you "Mute fourms"?

Double Bump!

I think we should also get the ability to keep the IM chat out of the channel 0 scrolling text.

Mixing up chat from different, unrelated sources makes for a confusing display. (Please don't tell me about chat history. for pete's sake, I know about the freaking chat history already!)

I think there should be two types of groups. Those you just need to be a member of to place items out, etc, but never need to talk to this group, so should not have ability to IM this type of group. (except maybe the founder can IM group).

And the regular type of group, when it is used to IM the group to talk about the group topic, or events, etc..

Would solve 90% of the problem I would think, No IM groups, and IM groups..
