Over a month and a half now with weekends completely borked, again with the 'asset server' and once we can actually login I can guarantee we will have a nice weekend of transaction failures ahead. And the people who try to make money in SL, nay just try to break even on rent/tier are again skewered on a stick. Bad transactions that customers can't prove and merchants can't verify and LL's response to the customer is take it up with the merchant, their response to the merchant is take it up with the customer, customers stop buying, even looking, and we're still paying tier and rent. Not to mention those of us that rent on estate or mainland are treated like second class citizens by customer service. Rez Lag has also been incredibly on the rise as of late although no one would actually admit such a thing.

This is really starting to get old.

Okay, not constructive enough for you? How's this then:

The server detects a failed/stale/bad transaction. The customer gets a pop-up that says 'Failed Transaction/Stale/etc.' Good. The server has identified the problem. Then after identifying the problem, it takes the customer's money, gives them no product. But on LL's end it shows they paid for the product and got it. Even though, remember, the customer got a bright blue pop-up that said failed transaction.

For LL it appears to be the merchant and the customer's problem.

If the system knows the transaction is bad, and even tells you, why does it go through with the process.

Screw the transaction system but thank god we've got glow!

-_-

As long as the campbots are nice & warm on their dancepads, the trafficbots aren't falling from their skyboxes, spambots are harvesting all the other bots names fo spamlists, and landbots ar hopping around waiting to buy the land we would abandon if we could get online, all is fine :)

This would have never been a problem if we hadn't dropped support for Windoze 95 and Apple IIe :P

Camp bots wouldn't happen if we still had support for Win 95?
Really?
Wow. Who'd have thunk it!
