Opt-1 (Mac equivalent to Alt-1) produces typing in chat - a new "feature". :) There may be others like this.

its part of the international keyboard support features. in apps other that SL the keys have done that for a long time. annoying to type when i want to open up one of the ifo screens like option 1 to see my frame rate.

edit: new version of the mac beta out that makes it so the info displays will only come up with a keyboard shortcut when chat is closed.
