Sinking Boats!

Since the havok 4 update, my Snap Kayaks sink underwater when someone is riding it - it's an item I created over a year ago and have sold literally thousands of them, and now they are all broke - and I built it before I had or knew about making an auto-updater.

Is there a simple fix for this? And what is the best way to roll out my fixed versions if I don't have a customer list?

Thanks in advance for any help.

From our own experiences with the physical engine and scripting, there is a boyancy issue. We have patched our scripts for the Havok4 deployment, but it only partially fixes the problem over short distances, over longer distances, the physical objects still sink to a lower level. I believe (I'm no scriptor in SL, I prefer saner scripting), you can increase the Z force applied to physical objects, although again, this may make your boats begin to fly over a greater distance.

Our guys have submitted a jira (don't ask me for the link  )

I noticed this problem too with all the freebie boats, my freebie jump enhancer also no longer works. And I also noticed the group access option won't come up if yoi disable public access to land.

Flying upward with a flight-feather or similar item seems slower too. I never noticed this on the pre-release Havok 4 simulators though, so it does seem buoyancy needs to be fixed.
