Pretty wierdness there latly, if you just stand still look at certain angles, poof 3 sims go, they wont come back untill you rotate your camera, so easy to do and highly annoying,,

Any word about this bug?, not that i spend so much time there now, but its awkward how those sims shift out all the time,

This repeats alot in the debug when it happen ;;

Thili,

Thanks for the heads-up. I have also experienced this. I will look into it and post again when I have more info.

I've run into this bug many times myself while helping out in the WA. Unfortunately I haven't been able to consistently reproduce it. What's odd is that it appears to only affect display of what's in the other three regions. It's still possible to chat with people in them.

Also, people dont see each other as they really are. Im not sure if this is a problem exclusive to the welcome area, but frequently I will see people much taller or shorter than they really are. I am 8' tall and people frequently people will say, "Loki, you shrunk!". I will look like my usual self but others will see me as shorter than them, when I see them only coming up to my shoulder. Comparative photos show that people are clearly seeing each other in ways that are not intended. This is a new situation that just started happening recently.

^ That's an interesting observation, one I've not really noticed closely until you mentioned it, Loki.

I see it somewhat commonly down there now. It is especially true with short avatars, I will sometimes see them with long bent legs. It is even more obvious if someone has been editing appearance or dragging folders to completely change their look. If either one of us relogs it cures itself.

I have also nosiest that if you stand in the fountain you will have more problems with the sims at the WA disappearing and the fountain itself disappearing.

I miss the old Welcome Area. Sure the new area is all snazzy and pretty...but the lag and the glitches that people experience aren't any fun :(
