New search and changing picture ratios

The new search is quite nice. However, it has a tendency to squash and stretch pictures of classifieds and land quite a bit (much more than the old search did). And there is nothing more uncool than trying to market a design business with ads that are squashed or stretched!! :/ Here is how the pictures look in different parts of the client interface:


The classified picture

_In Profile>Classified, the size is 205x137 (ratio 1.5:1).
_In Search>All, the size is 256x192 (ratio 1.33:1)!
_In Seach>All>Classifieds (this is the window that pops up after you click the name of the classified in the All tab's sidebar), the size is 398x282 (ratio 1.41:1)!!
_In Search>Classifieds, the size is also 398x282 (ratio 1.41:1). hey, some consistency finally


The land picture

_In Profile>Picks, the size is 288x162 (ratio 1.78:1).
_In Search>All, the size is 256x192 (ratio 1.33:1)!
_In Search>Places, the size is 398x282 (ratio 1.41:1)!!


The avatar picture

_In Profile>2nd Life, the size is 178x133 (ratio 1.34:1).
_In Search>All, the size is 256x192 (ratio 1.33:1).
_In Search>People, the size is 178x133 (ratio 1.34:1).

Phew. At least the avatar picture looks ok
