Rotating a prim

While I love the new expanding handles while rotating/resizing prims, i miss the visual aid that allowed me to easily rotate a prim by 45, 90 or 180 degrees. Is there anything to compensate?

Jaynius Shaftoe,
Happy to finally use àèìòù.

that's still there if you click Use Grid. and it has more steps now.

There's no axis radiating out from the centre of the prim, though, so there's no way to get an exact fix on the rotation except by eyeballing it.

Catherine can you explain that? when i go to rotate with Use Grid on i get the same old circle guide around the outside but with more fraction marks on it and if my pointer is close to the circle a line comes from the prim to the edge and it starts snapping. is that what you mean?
