I love the new viewer - using windlight from the beginning, because it was so much faster and more stable than the mainline, I was stunned by the introduction of the new streaming content feature (go to my cafe in Akhsharumova to see an actually working prototype of a webbrowser).
With 19.1.4, I can be online for hours without a single crash and client side lag is nearly non-existant. Thank to the Lindens for this great work!
(and I hope somebody will do the same miracle with the network and the asset servers some day...)

why would you think april fools... it is one of the best viewers yet.

a lot of vocal people who have issues with it would make you think otherwise, but the people NOT having issues aren't here complaining about it.

Well I hated it at first until I somewhat figured out how to work with the sliders. But I'm beginning to like it now. The pictures turn it great! A lot of lag though but my comp from 2003 is still chugging along & ain't so bad I can't deal with it. I'll like it even better when I get new computer tho.

Enjoy it while it lasts. From the looks of the RC, the next release will fix all those annoying working features!

The RC is a work in progress in the case of SL.. they work out the kinks and then release a new viewer that is the debugged, and stablest version of a given client number. We are onto the second client in the 1.20 RC line, and if you'll notice, the last released main client was the 4th iteration of the 1.19 line. It takes some trial and error. There are more problems in the RC, always, until they fix them, at which point it's released as the next main client.

There's no need to go into such detail with your sarcasm....
