I'm new to 2nd life (just started yesterday). Upon entering the world for the first time, I figured out most of the controls myself within about 5 minutes of messing around.
However, I wasn't able to skip the tutorial and go straight from the starter Island to the main areas.
Would be nice if I didn't have to jump through various hoops to get where I want to go faster as a new resident.
Would also be nice if there was some way to find some help. Perhaps a help chat channel or technical issues channel with officials and/or volunteers and real people who can help me along, rather than just the equally clueless newbies near me.
As it is, I seem to have bugged the tutorial and find I'm completely stuck with no way of getting help until this morning when these forums decided to let me on at last.
