Developer Blog needed

I think we have a communication issue with all the other issues at the moment. I see always people guessing what Lindens are doing and actually working on and getting upset because of this or that not being fixed, not knowing that perhaps someone of the Lindens is already working on it or is going to do so, after some other things are done that have priority. Often I read even things like "Lindens are doing nothing". I would call that being uninformed and speculating.

I seen that already in another MMOG that had way more issues as SL does and people where flaming and flooding forums with complaints. They just pulled out a Delevoler log book and did post often things they were working on and planing to do, keeping a lot of people "feeded" enough with infos to be quiet. Would not even need to be able to make comments like the official Blog, having merely the purpose to inform the community whats going on.

Lindens are how many, 100? If most Lindens would post say once all two or three days, we would have quite a very "relaxing" lecture available with something like 10-20 info chill pills a day.

I agree with that. While i love the fact all the LL news is now in one spot, it feels like there is now less openess about what the devs are working on. Might be because the LL blog feels more like a place to annouch things and not for show and tell.

Exactly, since they seem to refer to teams, each team leader should make a post about what they are doing and what their projects involve, progress and so-on.
