Ok, now I LOVE SL, however! **WARNING: I am going to vent my frustration. I will try to be constructive but gaurantee nothing**
Ever since the newest update I have had nothing but trouble. The game will randomly crash when I am trying to save scripts. I won't be able to log in for over 5 minutes. There seems to be increased lag.
I am a responsible scripter I always include handles for my my listen calls and set timers to remove the listen events. I do everything possible to keep SL as lag free as I can. I ensure that the scripts I am introducing to SL either for personal use or for sale are as lag free and bug free as possible. Having said that, doesnt Linden Labs have the same responsibility if not a greater one, to ensure that the releases they put out are trouble free???? After all there IS a test server. There is no good reason for new releases to make things WORSE than they were before.
It has been said before and I will say it again.
PLEASE FIX THE EXISTING "ISSUES" BEFORE INTRODUCING NEW CONTENT that will undoubtedly have NEW BUGS.
To Linden Labs: You have a dedicated consumer base and as far as I know from talking to all the people I know, we are not going anywhere, *as long as you continue to resolve "known issues".
As far as NEW content instead of giving us stuff like VOICE which most people I know think is cool but WILL NOT USE IT because the game is TOO LAGGY as it is, why dont you give us USEFUL things like llTeleport something we could actually USE. As for me I would appreciate that far greater than some voice feature that will only cause the game more lag. When I can run a voice server like Ventrillo or TeamSpeak without affecting my game.
FYI I have a 10M d/l speed and a PCI Xpress video card yada yada yada so no the lag is not associated with my connection or my hardware.
While I was writing this I was unable to log in.
Oh wow NOW I can log in.

well was unsuccessful logging in again guess I will REBOOT now and try again. This is really getting frustrating. NOTE: I had NO issues before this new release! So I am VERY upset.
And for you "quality" people at LL, I work at a call center and understand the difference between a "difficult" consumer and an "upset" consumer. I am the LATTER, please take due note.
