Each and everytime I start the current version, 1.9.0(20?), I think....I crash to desktop. I went and tried to preview/test the newest version - 1.9 (25) and I crash to desktop but about 1.5 seconds later than the current version.
Anyone else? Any known hardware issues I should be looking for?
I'm running Windows XP (Home) AMD 64 3400 ....not quite sure what's happening.... Yes, previous versions ran fine...

(Is this the correct forum area to be posting this in?) Try these steps. (1) Uninstall SL - then make sure the directory c:\program files\second life has been deleted (2) Make sure all open programs are closed, and close anything in your system tray that you can (3) open a command window (Start, Run, CMD, OK) (4) Type in cd %TEMP% and press enter (5) type in CD .. and press enter (6) type in rmdir TEMP /s and press enter - say Y to the are you sure This will remove your temp directory clearing all the temporary files. Even if it does not suceed, it will remove most of the items. If it comes back with no error, then do (7) (7) if no errors, type in mkdir TEMP and press enter. ( reinstall SL I have see problems where you have too much old junk in the TEMP folder - many times the only way to clear it is to delete it, and recreate it. See if that helps.
