account creation discourages creating second premium account

I recently created a second premium account. Having honestly answered the "do you already have an account" question, I was forced to pay $9.95 for a basic account, or so it seemed, though what I really wanted was a premium. It appeared by following the process that I would have to pay $9.95 in addition to the premium price, and it was not until I later looked at my credit card bill that I convinced myself that I paid only for a premium account.

Just a comment on the process--this may disuade people from creating a second premium account, or encourage them to go back and re-answer the "already have an account" question. Perhaps a selector for "basic" or "premium" earlier in the process would be better.

Or maybe I over-analyze too much.

not a bad idea.

Same thing happened to me....I wrote to LL but never received a response. I didn't realize that we had to purchase a second account and purchase the premium upgrade!
