After using the scroll wheel to zoom into mouslook mode, the camera begins panning to the left and will not stop rotating until leaving mouselook; However, the random rotation doesn't occur when I view SL in a window, only in fullscreen.
The problem also occurs intermittently when alt-zooming, or alt-ctrl-zooming around other objects; continuing to hold the Alt key, after changing the camera angle, the view will rotate by iself around the Z-axis.
It also happens when I left-click on my avatar and drag the mouse around to change the view. Keeping the mouse still while holding the click, the avatar will rotate around where they are standing -- displaying the walk animation -- until the mouse button is released.
Is this just me?!

the left clicking on your avy while holding it down and turning is a normal and very useful feature IMHO. This feature has been around for a while.

I agree it's useful; I use it all the time, myself.. but shouldn't the camera stop rotating once I stop moving the mouse?

From: Drizzt Naumova the left clicking on your avy while holding it down and turning is a normal and very useful feature IMHO. This feature has been around for a while. He said while NOT moving the mouse. This bug also occurs when you set your UI scaling to 0.85 or less on a lof of mahines (all?) It is definately a bug and I reported it weeks ago, there have been atleast two updates to fix it but... it's still there! FIX IT!

that's odd.. I've always used fullscreen, but only just had the problem today. But then, I also installed a new vid card today (7600GS)...
if you're saying that this happened in previous versions, could it perhaps be related to the video drivers??

I have had this problem.
I think it might be something to do with the window size - perhaps if you resize the window to be an odd number of pixels, the mouse doesn't have an exact centre so a rounding error makes it rotate?
I resized my window and the problem went away.
Anectodal evidence, I didn't try to reproduce it.

tested with a lower resolution, and that does seem to clear up the problem.. though I'll be dammed if I have to do this forever! I want my SL in the full glory of every blistering widescreen pixel! Lindens, please fix!!

I avoid a lot of UI glitches by turning off the scaling completely. Not just setting the slider to 1.0, but unchecking the checkbox below it.
